When my teenage girls ( ages 14-17) first arrive in class they are often stressed and emotional due to peer or family issues. After our weekly yoga session, the girls are visibly more relaxed, calm and able to focus on their schoolwork. Your calm voice and words of wisdom teach them to take care of themselves. You let them know there are healthy ways to cope with life. What you are teaching them is a practice that they can participate in the rest of their lives... which will enhance their quality of life.
I also want to thank you for taking the initiative to ask for donated yoga clothes. Our girls cannot afford these outfits but because they have been provided, they are now able to move more freely during their yoga practice. We appreciate all that you do and look forward to seeing you again this week.

Tara,I just want to thank you for making a difference in my students’ lives through yoga.
